”Look how it flies!”
She was completely taken by the butterfly’s beauty.
”Harry I wanna capture it.”
”Why?”

”If you capture a purple butterfly in your hands, whisperer your biggest wish and count to three and release it the wish will come true.”
”Where have you heard that?”
I don’t think Emma listened, she was to into watching the butterfly move with the light wind. She got up on her feet and started chasing the butterfly.
”Emma wait!”
I went off after her, but she had got an advantage and was several feet ahead. Her bare feet moved easily over the newly cut lawn. Why was she barefoot? I looked back and discovered her flower printed shoes laying beside each other next to where we had been sat. I moved my eyes back to Emma. She reached out her arms, and then suddenly stopped running. I had gotten up the speed so fast I almost ran into her. I stopped myself just before we collided. Emma was so distracted she didn’t even notice. Enchanted she stood with her head down facing away from me.
”I got it Harry!”
She spun around slowly. She smiled as she spread her fingers extremly carefully to show me the butterfly. She closed them again and bent her head down to tell her wish.
”I wish...” She spoke slowly and her eyes turned up to me. ”I wish for it to last forever.”
She closed her eyes and her mouth mumbled a quiet count to three. Then she opened her hands and the butterfly flew away. It rose to the sky and merged with the dark blue night. She looked at me with a twinkle in her eyes.
”For what to last forever?”
She turned her head and looked around to assure we were alone. She only had to take one step to make us stand so close our bodies touched. Her fingers slowly sweeped along my arm and she looked up. Her eyes were so perfect. By just looking into them I got all week in the knees. The lights from the Eiffel Tower in the background made them sparkle even more than usual. Her luscious lips started moving.
”You and I.”
”Do you love me?”
She giggeled and smiled.
”Yes I do.”
I gently twirled her around in the moonlight and put my hands on her waist. Unconsciously I think I had thought of a lyric from one of the songs on the album. I held back a laughter. The work was really taking up my whole brain capacity. Well, except for Emma of course. Who I thought of all day and all night. Oops, I just did it again.
”If it was me who had captured that purple butterfly, I would have wished for the exact same thing.”
She watched me quietly with a cheeky smile on her face, waiting for me to continue.
”Fine!” I sighed. ”I love you too.”

”See! I did tell you I love you back!” Harry lät nöjd med sig själv.
”That’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard.” Svarade jag med en tår i ögat. Jag torkade bort den lite diskret och log. Jag svepte bort en hårslinga ur ögonen i samma veva.
”If I ever capture a purple butterfly I know what I’m gonna wish for.”
Harry skrattade glatt och kysste mig intensivt. Men endast sekunder in i kyssen blev vi avbrutna.
”It’s time to get up... Oh I’m so sorry! Did I interrupt you guys? Again I’m so, so sorry I’m gonna leave you guys alone...” Liam slog nästan reflexmässigt händerna över ögonen, men hindrade sig själv i sista stund. Han började klumpigt backa tillbaka ut genom dörren. Det gick inte så bra. Han slog axeln i dörramen och gav ifrån sig ett lågt stön.
”It’s fine Liam!” Skrattade jag. Han lät verkligen ärligt upprörd över att han avbrutit vårt lilla ögonblick. Harry å andra sidan kastade sin kudde på honom. Den träffade Liam i ansiktet och det gjorde att han var på väg att tappa balansen. Han föll lite båkat och slog axeln i dörramen igen. Samma ställe. Den här gången jämrade han sig lite högre och tog handen på den mörbultade stackars axeln.
”Go away Liam!”
”I’m going!” Ursäktade han och skyndande sig att stänga dörren innan Harry hann slänga något mer på honom.
”Now where were we...” Mumlade Harry och kysste mig på halsen.
